The clinic still bears the original owner's name. I knew and respected him. He always hired good vets, and you could talk to him. He retired about 10 years ago. Something seems to have changed in the last few years and its mostly negative. The vet I liked the most recently left and is now teaching at a vet school. They could have been bought out. That would explain a lot.

Same deal with cleaning my dogs teeth. It was $800 plus labwork ahead of time. And thats for a dog with no dental or other issues. I don't know how people afford two pets. I suspect a lot of people don't do everything. I've had some people laugh at me when I said I got my dog's teeth cleaned. The don't realize how bad it is for an animal who has teeth problems.
