3. This clinic usually has very good vets and a couple of years ago

they got an ultrasound. Before that there were people who visited the vet clinics every few weeks with a portable ultrasound. My last dog was having problems and I waited 3 weeks to get the ultrasound, which showed a mass. He went to surgery that day, but I can't help but feel there was some time wasted.

At this clinic there are so many non-veterinarians walking around the place you can easily see why they have high overhead. I think they outsource everything they can. And once they do, they don't give a rat's ass.

So yeah, the ultrasound is something they don't have everywhere, but you pay for it.

I don't know why I thought rural vets might be different.
