and has been since he was at least 17. I certainly sympathize with his medical condition. However, I donβt believe that has anything to do with his speech impediment.
The way he speaks, and the high squeaky voice of the other spokesperson, Kaleb, is probably effective in getting donations for the hospital. However, he aspires to be a play-by-play announcer. What is a help on the (endless) commercials will likely be a barrier in his chosen profession unless he does some serious work with speech pathologists. I say this as someone who worked in on-air broadcasting for 11 years.
