A miniscule milestone of the Lounge variety, SHhhh (flip flops) [View all]

So flips have been a treasured part of my retirement dress code - am talking all day every day except for a couple of hours if socialization is involved. No probs keeping them on, in all activities like mowing the grass, driving. Have other options, such as boots for weekly happy hours and slides for Never. Otherwise, flips flips flips - black for blue shorts/shirts, brown for browns. But recently a boo-boo on a foot has made the flips unfeasible for the bandage at the strap crossing location. Tried the slides, which had never used for years, and how is walking possible with those things - slipping off driving, shuffling around.

Have also had the Hippie type Tevas for years unused, looked sort of Hippie has-been dorky. But today had to do some mowing touchup and needed secure striding, so did the Teva thing, which was surprisingly comfortable. But living for the return to flips.

*** SHhhh: If you know, you know.
