My dad’s childhood best friend was murdered in El Paso in 1993. He was a good man but somehow got sucked into the drug trade. Another dealer had it out for him and stabbed him to death. Anyway, I’m sorry for your friend’s death, this is a very violent country, even moreso in the 80’s and 90’s.
