President Donald Trump spent taxpayer dollars on projects at the White House and around Washington, D.C., as he was slashing spending for national parks across the country, according to a new report from The Atlantic
Trump used National Park Service funds for his Presidential Walk of Fame at the White House, which mocks Presidents Obama and Biden, the report states
National parks funds were also reportedly used for the installation of imported African granite for the walkway beside Trump's installation, which the president publicly claimed to have paid for himself
According to the report, taxpayer funds on projects in the Washington, D.C., area have increased by over 92%, as more than 900 projects at national parks across the country have gone without expected funds
