Does the power actually exist to bring about the kind of change necessary to prevent another demagogue from rising up out of the depths of ignorance and the influence of big money to prevent yet another demented, emotionally crippled egomaniac from capitalizing on populist conspiracy theories to get into power?

The influence of the 1% billionaire class has to be completely eliminated. Are there enough politicians out there willing to do that, or simply unwilling to be bribed?

Will there be enough members of Congress willing to do what it takes to have a Supreme Court in power that will overturn Citizens United?

Will we ever see a justice department led by an attorney general who will use the power of the office to bring Trump to justice? Will not having committed a felony be made a requirement for the Presidency?

Frankly, I think we have crossed a threshold here with the influence of money buying enough politicians to nullify those parts of the constitution that aren't to the liking or benefit of the billionnaire class. While I am ready to embrace a progressive revolution, I hold little hope that I'll ever see this in my lifetime.

Does anyone really believe things will change enough for us to go back to where we once were as a Consitutional Democracy?
