Undeniably, Donald Trump has a certain gift.

No matter what he does, no matter how much he insults his Republican allies (or their wives, for that matter), they have debased themselves to praise, applaud, and celebrate Donald Trump since 2016.

Republicans treat him more like a “Dear Leader” than a “Mr. President”. Spending copious amounts of time at the start of cabinet meetings, roundtables, and press conferences spraying over-the-top compliments at wherever they can see the nearest microphone.

What comes after Trump is anyone’s guess – but from the looks of it right now, it will be folks who lean into conspiracy theories, push hardline ideology on immigration, and those who care more about corporate bottom lines than family budgets.
