DOJ Just Convicted Rich, High-Profile Rapists. Why Won't It Act On Epstein Predators? [View all]

As if we needed yet more evidence that Pam Bondi is working overtime to protect the predators who raped and trafficked girls and women along with Jeffrey Epstein, this week’s verdict in a different high-profile sex trafficking case is it.

Tal and Oren Alexander were once fixtures of the high-end real estate world. The brothers built a reputation selling luxury properties and cultivating an image of glamorous success in Miami, New York, and other elite circles. But behind the designer suits and multimillion-dollar listings, something far darker was happening.

According to federal prosecutors, Tal and Oren Alexander, along with their brother Alon, orchestrated a scheme to lure women with promises of parties, travel, money, and connections, only for the women to find themselves drugged, pressured, manipulated, or coerced into sexual encounters. Multiple women testified that the brothers used alcohol, drugs, intimidation, and the leverage of their wealth and social status to control them. Some described being assaulted or trafficked across state lines.

In one instance, jurors saw video of one of the brothers raping an underaged girl.
