In reply to the discussion: Trump Admin Warns 4 States Over 250,000 Potential Noncitizens Voting [View all]moreland01
(906 posts)3. First of all,
how would the feds know that California has 35,000 non-citizen voters if they don't have California's voter data?
Second, voter information is public and anyone can get it, if they want. Heck, I can walk down to my county clerk's office and ask for our county's voter data. It costs $75 for the complete list (digitized even!).
Finally, voter registration DOES NOT EQUAL an actual vote. Anyone can fill out a voter registration form. Not everyone will be approved. In Colorado, I had to bring a copy of my birth certificate to get a driver license, which then automatically registered me to vote.
Not sure how California does it.

Don't some towns in California allow all residents to vote in LOCAL elections, regardless of citizenship?

Crap. I'd say, don't give potential. Prove undocumented immigrants actually voted. ...

I suppose they overlooked checking the owners of the SS numbers with naturalization databases.

If they can't even enter the building, if there is a 'armed-but-not-identified' gestapo...

the phrase 'potential non-citizens' is doing a lot of work for them. Should be viewed by MSM analysts as

Since they've already compiled the list they shouldn't have a problem turning over the names to each state.

Trump says 278,000 noncitizens are on voting rolls. Experts say that's wrong.
