If they didn't investigate.

When a person dies at home police always investigate, even if the person has been bedridden and 90 years old.

With Graham being a sitting senator, the FBI will get involved.

Not to say, I would rule out that they are cleaning up his computer, any sensitive documents that he may have, and embarrassing stuff he might have about Trump.
