We know they weren't on the mall (at the "fair"
- plenty of video showing hardly anyone there. They weren't at NAtionals Park - I watched the games on the 4th & 5th and the park was mostly empty both days.
I just checked, it looks like the Nationals' attendance figures for those games were either faked, or most everyone who bought a ticket stayed home. Officially announced attendance figures were over 28,000 and 19,000 at the 2 games. Here's video highlights of both games, and there's almost nobody in the seats. Based on the video, I'd say there was less than 5000 at each game.
