9. I'm interested in what applications this might have behind traditional "AI" usage.

E.g. can this be used in video games, or, video processing for example? As I, like a lot of other people, love to shit on pointless AI applications, I’m wondering if this could be useful (if even for niche uses)?

One thing I can think of is frame generation for video games, if they ever improve that. That, or, other generative AI that isn’t compete trash in video games.
