However, I gave up offering ideas on what to do because I am not 'in the loop' or whatever the excuse is.
It seems the 'brains' in this country think it is okay for us to be crushed under the whims of a lunatic regime. Of course, they are not the ones being hauled out of their homes and killed in the streets, so that aspect of the situation doesn't matter enough to warrant real action, I guess.
So, why bother with any of it? They know what is best for the world.
