Iranian officials, including advisor Mehdi Mohammadi, dismissed U.S. President Trump's April 2026 ceasefire extension, declaring that the "losing side cannot dictate terms".

Rejection of U.S. Terms: Iranian officials labelled the ceasefire extension a "ploy" and maintained that Iran will not accept dictated terms, according to as reported on WION and the Indian Express.
