had Noam Chomsky, Chris Hedges, Gore Vidal and other lefties on his show. I saw some video of him back at that time interviewing Ralph Nader, and Jones was clearly in awe of Nader.

He was good at radio, and I would occasionally listen to him, especially when he had a great guest on. However, he was conspiratorial, and after Sandy Hook in 2012, it was clear that there was something deeply wrong with him. After all that the parents of Sandy Hook had suffered, he made it much worse. The best theory I have is he did it for the money.

He then became a strong supporter and shill for Trump, until recently. He is still a shill for the Republican party and far right extremists. In many ways he's much worse than Trump. Trump is Trump, like a snake is a snake and doesn't know any better. Alex Jones is smart enough to know better, but is so greedy and malevolent that he just doesn't care.

He is truly an awful human being, akin to Joseph Goebbels -- a monster.
