Duqm looks like a deep-water port and a feasible low-elevation route from the UAE. If the Omanis are willing to allow it.

Such a plan would take, IDK, a decade to build? Trump will be rotting in a grave by that time.

Hooking up to SA's pipeline network to their Red Sea coast would be faster and bypass the Houthi threat (such as it is), but not for Asian destinations.

Maybe we should just make peace with the Ayatollahs - that would be cheapest of all.
