Saturday

every year now, practically every month, it seems, people living in California have to stay aware of wildfires. It's got to be nerve-wracking. We've been to California several times but never had to flee from a wildfire. It's an astoundingly beautiful state, so I understand why people want to live there. But geez, fires, floods, collapsing hillsides, mudslides, earthquakes. At least you usually don't get tornadoes. Or hurricanes.
