I could go on about how he knew what he was doing or that he should have known better,
I could say that it's too late for apologies, but he influences people on the right and it means Trump loses another layer of armor and that much closer to seeing his way out the door.

Once the republicans in congress no longer fear his influence over the voters it will be the final chapter in the rise and fall saga.
