They have the out to say:

"Oh, that crazy stuff was just trump, the "New Guy" republican will be totally different,"

just like they do after every republican destroys the economy and starts a war in the middle east. They do not learn, and they refuse to accept that the crazy stuff is the republican brand, not just lunatic trump. I would eat my shoe if more than a vanishing minority of trump voters that are claiming that this "is the last straw" actually change their voting patterns because of it.
