I think they believe he is the second coming. They would drink the kool aid even if they knew it was spiked.

Those angered by it, likely already hated him. I’m getting to the point where I’m nearly numb. Sickened? Disgusted? Absolutely. Just knowing that there’s no line he can’t cross, and still has any support, will never let me look at this country the same way again.
