they program a faulty list into the system. Somehow a lot more mail gets missent, rejected delayed, not just ballots. Does the illegally sequestered mail get rushed to the shredder or the very slow correction centers now centralized and burdened? Did some fantasy land button pusher say that our sophisticated barcoding and tracking capabilities can be weaponized like this and deny states the right to mail what they damn please to their citizens? This is a hammer thrown into the gears of the machine not in any way what they say is planned and possible. YOUR mail will not be safe in the meltdown. I said MAIL, not just ballots.

The USPS operates on several hybridized and cumulative systems dating back forever, many of which even the mechanics and planners do not understand. "What are those initials? "I dunno. It dates back to some older system, I heard. Not sure what it is connected to. Just ignore it if it is off."

Of course, any experience is getting pretty rare in the land of the dinosaurs coding. We have about every generation of computer chugging along somewhere in the building, starting from Commodore at least. When the geniuses who rule from above make changes in the programming make even small changes, inexplicable and unexplained to workers on the floor it might not be very pretty. Updating of course happens continuously and the new equipment does not crash easily- with a notable exception being those coming from national networking. Don't even ask, I don't understand it.

Another excited idiot idea run through various "informed" eager beavers, I am sure. And not ONE of them knows what can or will happen, although chaos is certainly a strategy all its own, putting the entire election- and your personal mail, all of it, at untested risk.

By the way, little checking is done of mail failing the address correction programs anymore. It's off to the shredder. Cost cutting edge of planned disservice.
