to dehumanize people. Putting them in cages in the middle of the swamps of Florida, locking them into warehouses with little or no ventilation...

They have been doing it since the time of putting humans in cargo holds of ships to bring here - "tight pack" or "loose pack".

THAT was how some of our ancestors "immigrated here".
