Constitutional age requirement to be a US Senator is just 30 years old upon taking office. That’s in addition to needing to also be a citizen of the United States for at least nine years and be an inhabitant of the state you are elected to represent.

I suspect you’re thinking of the age requirement for the office of President. That one is a minimum of 35 years of age upon taking office (IOW, by Inauguration Day).
