The headline promotes the lie that the statement addresses the criticism by stating the criticism was failure to CONSULT

WH Says ‘Gang of Eight’ Was Notified Ahead of US-Israeli Strikes on Iran Amid Criticism Congress Wasn’t Consulted

The ACTUAL criticism is only in the body of the report (i.e., without the required congressional approval)

They report this as if the statement that “Prior to the attacks, Secretary Rubio called all members of the gang of eight to provide congressional notification, and he was able to reach and brief seven of the eight members" addresses criticism that the felon violated the constitution by acting with the required congressional approval."

I would have expected better of mediaite.
