5. I assume this relates to the US military's refusal to obey any orders under the Insurrection Act and Martial Law.

His is a morally sound announcement for the common good and in accord with the founding documents.

Because the writers of those documents recognized that "Blessings of Liberty" is not a legal phrase; they knew also, the concept of justice appears in Mosaic Law founded in 1312 BC, which makes the concept at least 3,300 years old...

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America"....
