In reply to the discussion: Trump disparages presidential foes in plaques attached to White House [View all]slightlv
(7,354 posts)38. That's the first thing I thought about, too...
everyone who's been maligned, demeaned, and misrepresented by rump on this "walk of fame" should be able to sue for at least defamation of character. However, beyond using one's common sense and sense of decency, how would you prove anything in a court of law? I'm not one who thinks this is childish; it is beyond childish. It is evil, misrepresentative, untruthful, and uncouth. We might excuse some of this if it came from a book report from a 2nd grader, but from a grown man? No way. Calling it "childish" just works to normalize it as "typical trump" and everyone's let him get away with crap because all we've done up to now is normalize stupid sh*t like this. Call it out for the petty, vindictive, lying crap that it is.

Doesn't one need to be literate to be a student of anything, especially history?

The verbiage on the plaques are classic Toilet Tweets while he's jacked up on the crushed Adderall he snorted.

I honestly do not understand how Trump can just rewrite history and there's nothing to stop him.
