(45,934 posts)Your words "SCOTUS already granted certiorari months ago for the injunction issue" and "Today (Dec 5, 2025) likely involves procedural steps or appeals related to the implementation of the June ruling, not a new decision to hear the main case itself"
Please point to the petition for certiorari that you claim the Court granted "months ago"? And please explain why, if this was merely a "procedural step related to the implementation of the June ruling" and "not a new decision to hear the main case itself", in her dissent to the June decision, Justice Sotomayor expressly questioned whether cert would be sought on the status of the executive order -- was she unaware that the Court had "already" decided to hear the "main case?"
Maybe your original assertion reflected a good faith misunderstanding of the procedural status of the case. But by intentionally standing by that misunderstanding in subsequent posts you've converted that misunderstanding into an intentional misstatement -- i.e., a lie.
