The shooter could have been revealed as Barron or Don the Lesser and the MAGAverse would be gathering torches and pitchforks and headed to Delaware to find the real perpetrator of the crime.

The mind that is soothed by conspiracy theories never has to live in a world of responsibility for anything--there is always a list of other people and things to blame for whatever makes it uncomfortable. And when constant aggrievement is added to the mix you have a mind ensconced in a metaphorical turtle shell to protect it from the harm that would come from taking onboard any self-reflection.

The best we can do is point out the hypocrisy and hope that everyone without the MAGA brain worm sees it--because a crowd that will show up to the Capital building and beat police officers to get in so they can hang their own vice president and blame it on the FBI and "Antifa" sure aren't going to believe for a second that one of their favorite targets for hate would ever get mad enough to retaliate against them.
