adults in the room? They're worthless. Absolutely worthless and they too, will work w/ tRUMP to strip away rights from Americans, give the 1% even more tax breaks/cuts, w/o paying for them, or if they do something crazy to pay for these upcoming tax cuts, a lot of us fear (and not just democrats collecting their long-earned social security earnings that so many of us have worked so long and so hard for).

I think Pres. Biden did go (or try to) the 2017 tax cuts that tRUMP put into place during his first term. I couldn't find anything on it so far but will continue to dig into the vast trove of information that's out in Internet land.

One fact that did stand out, is that tRUMP's tax cut of 2017 did hurt black Americans and did contribute to income inequality (duhhh, yes!!). IMHO, it also contributed to the additional massive federal deficit ballooning in size by $trillions of dollars more (cuts passed w/o being paid for). The stimulus payments would be spent by lower income Americans (not the 1%ers) and thus, lead to a more robust economy for all, which is lifting ALL boats.

I think that any new tax cuts should be directed more to lower income Americans of all stripes, and not just be tax cuts, but stimulus payments which would have had the additional benefits of stimulating the Economy far more than a mere tax cut of the %s that the 1% pay, as tRUMP seems to think. All he's really doing, is improving his lot and no one else's.

Instead of tax cuts for the 1%ers, their tax cuts should be rescinded instead, and in addition, they should be taxed at an higher rate. The reason being that since from 2017, the stock markets are massively higher, and the tax rates are already low enough as it is, plus they get so many benefits from better tax code treatments of their deductions (which leads to a lower effective tax rate for the 1%ers).

Oh well, who am I fooling? tRUMP will get his non-paid tax cuts since everything is rigged and us lower peons won't see much, if anything. We're becoming the 'forgotten' Americans (99% of us, give or take) again.
