When I served in the Army many many years ago (long before don't ask don't tell) I served with a man who was Gay, not openly but he was not afraid to say he was if asked. He was treated like shit by "leadership" and eventually drummed out of the Army on three successive trumped up Article 15 charges for conduct unbecoming. He was three months away from a Honorable ETS after almost four years. I hope he is part of this settlement, but I don't think he is it was over 40 years ago.
