Reporting in from the STOP KAVANAUGH protest [View all]

in San Diego. Hardly any young voters there. Don't they realize their futures are at stake?!? Such APATHY!

There were very clever speakers and music. There were chairs set up on both sides of the podium on the stage for the justices of the SCOTUS who dressed in robes and there was a Ruth Ginsburg too. There was a speaker dressed as a handmaid but was a a male immigrant from Syria and a student. There was a 9 year old trans kid who was so wonderful...he spoke with such confidence and poise. Afterwards I had to shake his hand and his mom's too. The justices were called "The Supremes". Musicians called The Resisters played really good music too.

How do we get younger people to care?!?! It is very frustrating to say the least.

*I spoke to a lot of people and they are all aware of the Climate March on Sept 8th in thousands of US cities and hundreds around the world ahead of the big conference in San Francisco....

On Sept 8 we’re planning thousands of actions and events in cities and towns around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that works for all of us. No more stalling, no more delays: it's time for 100% renewable energy for all.

This September, cities, states, businesses and civil society from around the world are gathering in California for the Global Climate Action Summit.

The Summit has invited every mayor, governor, and business leader in the world to make a bold climate commitment to help the world reach the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.

Plan or join an event on September 8. If your elected officials commit, your rally can be a celebration. If they fail to act, it's a chance to hold them accountable.

***We must fight the tRump admin and GOP! Climate Change is here and we are all experiencing it. The US is taking steps backwards and we CAN stop them if we wake the country up and we ALL stand up and fight for our lives, the animals, plants, air and planet. RESISTANCE WORKS!
