Turns out Scalia won't really have much of a say in it after all. This kind of rhetorical device is played out, people aren't buying the idea that we have to vote for compromise anymore. You never win a negotiation by starting at the compromise position. Never mind that Reuters polling has Bernie waaaaay ahead with independents compared to the compromise candidate.
