3. Poorly informed? No, his brain is shorted out

You can't explain the kind of contradiction this person professes to embrace with poor information, or really any information at all.

1. Hawkes notes that in the past Jackson voted against certain "bad things" which are typical progressive causes
2. Hawkes opines that Jackson is therefore not as progressive as he claims
3. Hawkes intends to vote for Collins over Jackson or Bellows because Jackson was not progressive enough in the past, and thus will be useless in the future.

That goes well beyond poor information. That is the "thought process" of a melted mind. That is the voice of a solid Collins voter; best case, he's flailing wildly for an excuse to vote for Collins.
