(19,293 posts)If they are truly in the general D camp - that is will vote for the Democrat as leader of their Congressional chamber - then if they will be on the ballot in November, not only plan to VOTE for them, STOP ATTACKING them for the positions that don't perfectly align with yours.
We need to bring this country back from the brink. Not every Dem GE candidate will be (your idea of) perfect on Israel, Trans rights, immigration laws, defense spending, energy policy, environmental policy, reproductive rights policy, health care policy ....
Vote for, and more importantly, with your voice (vocal and digital), SUPPORT the GE Democratic candidates.
That's the only hope.
We will deal with the fine points after we've pulled back from the brink.
Every single Dem-aligned constituency of the policies I mentioned above, and those I omitted ... WILL SUFFER MORE UNDER CONTINUED REPUBLICAN RULE, than if the Dem who doesn't quite support certain constituencies as well as we'd like, takes office with sufficient fellow Dems to pull this country back to some semblance of sanity.
PLEASE.
