Home Interiors and Gifts was a collection of tacky decor in the '80s. [View all]

They had parties like Avon or Tupperware. Generally speaking, housewives looking to make a few dollars could host their friends and decorate the mobile home at the same time. Of course it was mostly cheap gold painted plaster, but they sold a ton to women looking for something to do after the kids left for school that also involved box wine.

By the turn of the century most of it could be found in second hand shops, garage sales, dumpsters and The Oval Office.
