"Ronald Reagan is rolling over in his grave," fumed Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) in a social media post, calling the war and its outcome the "worst foreign policy blunder in decades."

Perhaps I'm not remembering history accurately, but I believe it was President Ronald Reagan who sold weapons to Iran during his administration, after our American hostages were held for 444 days, to help them against its war with Iraq.

We've actively helped Iran in the past. This is a mere settlement.
