1. I wondered about this but couldn't find any info on attendance.

Am I right that it was by invitation only and then they still needed to open it up to troops to fill the lack of interest. Anybody know the actual attendance vs the number that were expected ? I want to know that the attendance fell flat but I don't know if that is true. Anybody??
