US World Cup Star Would Not Be American Under Krasnov's Law [View all]

Folaron Balogun scored 2 goals for the US, the 1st US player since 1930 to score 2 goals in a game.

Balogun's mother was visiting the US when US Air wouldn't allow her to fly back to England so Balogun ended up being born in Brooklyn, a US citizen because of birthright citizenship. Balogun was only in the US for 1 month before his mother flew him back to England, where he was raised.

Krasnov is trying to end birthright citizenship and as of now it is being held up in the courts.
