Supersize version.

The usual "other cures" being a 7 foot high fence, perhaps double perimeter.

If you can purchase a robot, they seem spooked only by objects moving towards them.

Dogs are good at this, I am told, but you might not want to let them loose, since deer often share the territory with predators, like mountain lions.

I researched this matter very thoroughly and decided to grow artificial plants, inside the house.

And return to the suburbs.

With all the wild critters, if you seriously want to grow things, you need a greenhouse with a solid floor.

I grew a vast variety of plants in the suburbs, including 50 rose plants at one home. Only gophers gave me trouble there, and there's a cure, of course.
