An active shooting has been reported in the area of Wall Street in Midland.

The public is being advised to avoid the area.

There is a report that the suspect is barricaded on the second floor of the Victorian Inn east of Rogers Ford.

TxDOT has confirmed that multiple roads in the area are closed because of the presence of law enforcement.
