Interesting fact, most of the apparent developments he built were government subsidized. His mother came from Scotland. Trump himself used his father's fortune to build apartments, hotels and casinos.
Trump had nothing to do with the founding fathers creation of a democratic republic. Trump had nothing to do with the cultural, educational, community achievements that made this country what it is.
In reality, he has been destroying much of what many of us loved about America. Our democracy and a government where powers are split between three branches designed to check each other. He is destroying much of what has made DC,not just the capital, but the symbol of our country. Knocking down a wing of the WH without communicating the plan to the country or even Congress was a slap in the face, as was putting his name on the Kennedy Center
Having an ugly venue for bloody caged matches built on the lawn would likely not have been imagined in a dystopian novel.
His legacy will be he made the world less safe and jeopardized the US having any allies and that he transformed DC from a dignified, meaningful place to a grotesque version of itself. I would say Trump is tasteless, but it may be more accurate that his taste authentically comes to him from his brothel owning grandfather and his racist father.
