Story is, Dick Holler wrote it, and, after Bobby Kennedy was killed, one more verse was added at the last minute. A very powerful song. AM&J and "Ohio" by Crosby Still and Nash, became our anthems, even as we watched our dreams of American brotherhood bleed out in the streets..

Actually, RFK was shot in the early a.m. of June 5, & pronounced dead on June 6, which is the usual date associated....
