In reply to the discussion: MEMO: Katie Porter Offers the Strongest Path to Victory in California [View all]whathehell
(30,513 posts)122. I'm sorry, but like some others here, I just don't agree.
I saw the video with her staffer, and while she was not charming, it was hardly the worst example of abuse I've seen, or even personally experienced.
If you replaced Katie with a male politician in that scene, I think the overall response to it would have been milder.

The glass ceiling and the "bitchy woman" v. the "strong man" are well documented in this society.

IF you are from California, will you vote for her if she is the nominee or stay home/vote third party?

You are comparing Porter's office management to Swalwell's alleged sexual misconduct?

California does not nominate a candidate from each party for the general election. They have a jungle primary.

Understood. But, let's go with the outside chance the Republican is either #1 or #2 and Porter is the other.

I can't imagine any of the posters criticizing Porter wouldn't vote for her over the Republican.

Schiff spent $10 million on ads elevating Garvey so he wouldn't have to face Porter in November

Ambition makes people do stupid things. Again I ask, will her policy ideas benefit California?

That is something between her and her staff. How does this affect her policy proposals if elected

I support any Democrat against every Republican. The stakes are too high not to anymore.

She is a force of nature and tough as nails, not afraid of anyone, like AOC - usually the smartest person in the room.

I'll take 218 AOC/Katie Porters in the House and 51 of them in Senate over turncoats like Fetterman
