The tuberculosis vaccine strain you're going to get is a form of immunotherapy. It's intended to stimulate an immune response to kill the cancer cells and prevent recurrence. Hopefully, it works as intended. Immunotherapy really is the gold standard today. It sounds like you're in good hands. Best of luck.
