Quick and nimble insurgent warfare combined with small but fast speed boat armed with small boat to ship - land based launchers to ship - missile and anti missile, and anti anti systems can devastate large naval vessels in seconds rendering them useless during war time.

Low cost electronic warfare, unmanned drones, robots and robotic dogs, hyper sonic missiles, laser guns, ram jets, etc., etc., are how future wars will be waged and fought.

Good articles about weapons systems under development,... The Military Industrial Complex has many ideas for weapons system and way to help the government spend taxpayer dollars. Endless ideas to wage war and so joyfully profitable for them to boot.
