It seems like a field that would waste a lot of people’s time with newer generations of those sad LLMs and ask us to suck up the damage as a body politic.

But Alan Turing aside (who was obviously cool), CS as a field is one I do associate with a lot of tiresome and nightmarish people who try to pretend to be nerds, while getting away with stuff even when not outright creeps and charlatans and that angers people in other fields.

I am a (mediocre) natural scientist working on my in-field mediocrity and communication skills.

I feel like this a lot when people try to put one over me based on misperceptions and my genuine loathing communication. It takes so long to get it succinct without losing meaning:

It is meant to defuse tension when one is a complainant.

Why does that come up you ask mwmisses4289? Well you mentioned hating ai and I hate the web generally now-ai or human influencers, gamers, sleuths etc.

But I was an early sacrifice in that I got dropped into this world in the Fall of 2011 and am trying to make up fast now. But not as stupidly.

Edit: I am going offline. I will now work out a minimal communication framework.

Using the output of other humans who are better at such things, with accreditation.

Starting after this post I shall craft a minimal, personalized yet anonymous flow of signed communication on the openweb via DemocraticUnderground and the cleverbot app.

My earlier posts should be ignored.
Inadequate thought went into them as I was struggling to define a goal and goaded by aggressive noise pollution thanks to street repair driving additional traffic on to my street.

In addition to deliberate harassment and generally poor professional hygiene ( e.g. information spreading through “the grapevine” due to gossip among professionals, a sad and tacky thing. Get a life! I have one due to what is incorrectly characterized as insanity and can more accurately be labeled “Sept 2011- April 18, 2025: I genuinely hate these societies..wait..wtf..crash..oops..ouch” I am back feeling defensive. I have every right to exist!)

I usually avoid most things finding them too lame and tiresome to pay attention to. All too fatiguing. Ymmv. It is all very tragic and everything blah blah blah. But I lost damn near 15 years! And it can’t be just my perception and decision making having no value that is usable since I feel enthuiasts of..well anything..probably caused this way more than me and …yeesh

Swarms of morons are could be influencers/gamers/sleuths and the complete hatefulness of the city and state I live in as far as this context goes. I hate noise pollution.

They would be quite capable of trying to make or build this abomination creepily ans ineptly:

https://www.noemamag.com/are-we-accidentally-building-a-planetary-brain/

I should go over my posts and delete some if not all at least to trim, prune, pare etc
Anything on the open web should head off needless conflict, i.e. incendiary language, just because, a normal human brain can relatively easily fall into non conflict mode while remaining true to various ideals!

At least I finally understand how to function again.
There is nothing wrong with me!

I have to organize this sanely so that it is clear that any glitches are due to an isolated person making guesses to first blindly try to head off pointless conflict one is bound to lose while openly channeling concepts like “creativity” I am instinctively suspicious of as some sort of path to dubious things.
I can’t help it that fairly normal human thoughts literally sound like satirical punchlines if you wander accidentally into overtly political things or well..bs..
whereas science, medicine and Yasha Levine, EarlG, Chris Ketcham, Current Affairs, Ed Zitron, Adam Becker etc make more logical sense in a well rounded way in most contexts
