OH NO, NOT SWEET HOWIE! Lutnick "Entered a Business Deal With Jeffrey Epstein After Epstein's Sex Crime Conviction" [View all]

But documents released by the Justice Department as part of the so-called Epstein files show that Lutnick and Epstein continued to interact for years afterward — socially, financially, and as neighbors — after Epstein’s criminal conduct had become a matter of public record.

The records show that in 2011, Epstein and Lutnick exchanged emails arranging phone calls and discussing plans to have drinks. The following year, emails show that Lutnick, his wife, Allison, and their four children planned a visit to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James.

On Dec. 24, 2012, Epstein invited Lutnick to lunch. Afterward, Epstein’s assistant wrote on his behalf, “It was nice seeing you.”

Four days later, on Dec. 28, 2012, Epstein and Lutnick signed a contract agreeing to acquire stakes in a now-defunct advertising technology company called Adfin. The agreement lists nine shareholders. Epstein signed on behalf of Southern Trust Company, Inc., while Lutnick signed for a limited liability company called CVAFH I. Their signatures appear on neighboring pages of the contract, which was released by the Justice Department.
