Apocalypse Noun [View all]

“The truth of war is not always easy to hear but it is always more heroic than the hype.”
Jessica Lynch, April 24, 2007

Now, I'm not a Catholic. I was forced to attend the church as a kid, but even before my teen years thought they didn't understand Jesus. I do have relatives who are still church members, and have known a lot of mighty good people who are members of the church. I did like the last Pope, who practiced liberation theology, and I find myself liking this new fellow, Leo, for speaking out against war.

Obviously, the church has had its scandals involving sexual offenses against children. I was involved in a case when I worked with “at risk” teens where the local priest was arrested for sexually abusing a kid. Within twelve hours, the bishop had the charges dropped and after a three week vacation to consider the nature of his sins, the priest was moved to the next unsuspecting community. He should have been incarcerated.

On the other hand, there are a lot of good Catholics. They follow Jesus' teachings about having a social conscience, caring about the poor, and creating a more gentle world . They honor the Pope, and are opposed to the abuse of young people.

I quoted Jessica Lynch, who was used by the Bush-Cheney administration without concern for her well-being. Being an honest person, she would tell the Truth about the horrors of her experience in war. Her being honest resulted in her being threatened by some of the sick individuals in our society. The administration did nothing to help her. Yet she continued to speak honestly, in stark contrast to anyone in the administration.

Governments – included our own – contain some very sick individuals. They may outsource programs like the Epstein Pedo Files' dark scandal. We see some in Congress trying to protect the administration, as if financing such shit gets much-needed intelligence. Obviously, Epstein coordinated with U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies at a high level. The sexual abuse of minors is the most offensive part of that scandal, of course, but if people had a fuller concept of how it was financed, and by who, and how it was connected to wide-reaching money laundering, they would be shocked.

We need to keep in mind some of the strings that tie certain players together here. We know that Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi had a business partner named Jeffrey Epstein. He sold his luxury yacht to the cirrent president. He transported the U.S. missiles from Israel to Iran in the Iran-Contra. As we approach the end of the “cease fire,” we need to recognize that the same people who engage in the underage sex trade and money laundering are the same ones that profit from war.

They are of the cult of Thanatos. That bomb the U.S. dropped om the little girls' school in Iran cost a lot to build. People make big money in the industries that produce weapons like that. Thus, the human parasite Eric Trump has become invested in it. His tapeworm brother-in-law Jared is investing in the recently stolen land of the West Bank. Some, like the felon, get off on seeing big explosions, not caring who gets injured or killed.

In the next episode of a long, rambling rant – which I shall post on this OP/thread – will focus on the related topics of the war in Iran, the decay of empire, and the pattern the economy will most likely take this summer and fall. My recent focus in an OP about the AI image will make more sense, too, as it is a bad sign. Much of this might sound like harsh nay-saying, despite the president saying things are better than they ever have been in our country. I know, I know – call me a skeptic, if you must, but everything the felon says is a lie. And I don't want anyone caught off guard and surprised that things will get worse before they get better.

We shall overcome, however.
