5. If he's miserable

by God, he insists everyone else be too. He’s operated this way his whole life, and been a miserable wretch always.

My mother was a beautiful soul, and dementia only reinforced that quality. It doesn't always work,that way, but in her case, and T’s, it highlighted the core of who they were pre.
